Patronage at Amity Arts
Patronage is a powerful way for arts-loving, community-minded people to invest in creativity and inclusion. If you are passionate about the arts, or improving prospects for adults with SEND within our local area, then becoming a patron is a relatively simple act, with a rather large impact.
At Amity, we believe in the strength of community. By becoming a patron, you’re extending a hand of friendship to those who need it most, and joining a network of people who care deeply about making the arts accessible to everyone.

We offer different patronage portals below. Every patron is equally valued, so please choose the level that feels right for you.
Please be aware that while we are very grateful for all support and interest, we regretfully cannot accept Patronage from any political parties or groups.
£100 Patronage
£100 for a yearly membership, or
£8.34 for a monthly membership
(monthly payment totals to £100.08 yearly)
Perk: 1 free ticket per show run
£250 Patronage
£250 for a yearly membership, or
£20.84 for a monthly membership
(monthly payment totals to £250.08 yearly)
Perk: 3 free tickets per show run
£500 Patronage
£500 for a yearly membership, or
£41.67 for a monthly membership
(monthly payment totals to £500.04 yearly)
Perk: 5 free tickets per show run
Custom Patronage
If you would like to be a patron, but would prefer to specify the amount of your patronage, please get in touch to tell us how much you would like to contribute to Amity Arts! Minimum Patronage fee £100.
Your Patronage
Where do your contributions go?
We’re committed to investing in the future at Amity.
For our students to grow as much as possible, we would need security for the business, accessible equipment, and continuous staff training. As such, the funds raised could be used to finance the following:
- Essential business expenses such as room hire
- Musical instruments designed with limited mobility in mind
- Sensory-friendly costume and props
- Staff training in Makaton (a communication aid based on British Sign Language that can help our staff and students understand each other)
- Extra support from trained professionals should the need arise
Ultimately, our goal is to nurture creative spirits. If we raise enough funds, we might be able to put something aside for next year’s budget, or subsidise the sixteen places available at Amity this year. This keeps it cheap for our students. Awesome.
Please note that Amity Arts Limited is a social enterprise and not a registered charity. That means your patronage is a contribution to our mission — not a donation — and while contributions are not eligible for Gift Aid or any tax relief, they directly fuel inclusive, creative opportunities for adults with learning disabilities.

Cancelling your patronage
We understand that circumstances change. You can cancel your patronage at any time — no questions asked.
If you’re making payments via GoCardless, you can cancel future payments using the link in your confirmation email or by contacting us directly.
- Monthly Patrons: If your patronage was part of a recurring monthly plan, cancellation will stop future payments but won’t refund previous ones. If you cancel after a payment has been processed, that month’s contribution will still be used to support our inclusive drama programs.
- Yearly Patrons: If your patronage is annual, cancellation will prevent renewal for the following year. However, we’re unable to refund payments that have already been processed, as they’re immediately allocated to our inclusive drama programs.
Patron Perks will continue for the remainder of the month/year which you have contributed to.
